Hi all! I posted a picture on Instagram last night of my homemade cereal bars. I love these
but they’re so expensive for just four thought I’d make my own and works out at roughly similar amount of calories…bonus! I had everything already in my cupboard so threw it all together and this is what came out
Here’s my recipe below
1 cup Rice Krispies
1/4 cup Aldi’s mixed nuts chopped
2 tbls of agave nectar
1 tbls of raisins
1 tbls of dried cranberries
1 tsp mixed seeds
1 tsp goji berries
7 squares of 85% cocoa Lindt chocolate melted
1 tbls coconut oil melted
Mix all dry ingredients together with the agave nectar.
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil slowly as to not burn the chocolate and pour in a load tin lined with grease proof paper. Add the rice and nut mixture on top and refrigerate over night. Voila! Cut into 6 pieces once hardened.
