Found this on Pinterest so I adapted it slightly for my 19 weeks pregnant body and did this at home. Anyone can do this workout you don’t need any equipment and you can repeat it as many times as you feel necessary to get a full workout in. I did use my gymboss timer though which just made the timing a bit more precise.
I set it to 10 rounds of 20seconds exercise 10 seconds rest.
I began with a hill walk on the treadmill for 10 mins, 8% incline at 6.0kmph pace. Walking 1km altogether.
The circuit I did was 20 seconds of each exercise followed by 10 seconds rest.
Press ups (on my knees now)
Standing side crunch (alternating side with each curcuit)
Rest for around 1 minute to 1 minute 30 secs and repeat. I did this 4 time through. I finished with my big booty challenge for today which consisted of
30 star jumps
30 deep lunges
Definitely a bum burner to finish!
I also made some chocolate protein pancakes for breakfast this morning.
1 scoop forever fit choc ultra lite protein powder
1/2 mashed banana
2 x egg whites
1 tsp stevia (I used truvia)
2 tbs almond milk
Spray a skillet with fry light or coconut oil and fry on each side for a few seconds. Be careful they burn easily!
I topped mine with the other 1/2 a banana and a dribble of agave syrup. Yum! Healthy and filling.
Today is also my sister’s 23rd birthday so happy birthday to Charlotte!
Off out for Thai food tonight to celebrate and obviously some birthday cake as a treat! Mmm mmm!
