Last week we went to Egypt as most of you who read my blog or facebook know. We had a fab time and the hotel was brilliant, especially for Macie.

We stayed at the Coral Sea Aqua Club hotel in nabq bay Sharm El Sheik. 5* all inclusive and comes with a water park inside the hotel. They also had a lazy river which Macie loved…

And lots of slides…

There were some larger slides too but i couldn’t go on being 17 weeks pregnant so Kris tested out a few that he liked.

Being January the weather was great.  A real comfortable temperature of around 24°c to 27°c most days. The sun goes in around 4pm so it can get alot coolet at night making some of the pools freezing. However there was a large heated wave pool which Macie loved. Was just like getting in the bath sometimes it was that warm…lovely!

We stayed all inclusive so ate in the main buffet restaurant most nights. There were also 2 a la carte restaurants which you could book. One was American food and the other Asian style food, they were all lovely.

On Kris’s birthday though we went out for a meal to a nice Chinese restuarant in Soho square. Soho square was around 10 minutes drive in a taxi away from our hotel and was a great place to shop with any hassle from the egyptians and had a lovely choice of restuarant.

We also visited Naama Bay (around 20mins drive fron our hotel) one of the nights which we have been to many times before. It’s really lively and busy with plenty of restuarants, bars and shops. You do get a bit of hassle though of the shop keepers but this all adds to the fun!

Overall we had such a lovely holiday. If anyone with children is thinking of visiting Sharm El Sheik then visit this hotel.  It was perfect for children and us adults enioyed it too!
