Tonight’s dinner was a homemade turkey chilli. The recipe is below amd maes 2-3 servings.

Ingredients:
• 450g turkey mince
• 1 can of chopped tomatoes
• 1 can of kidney beans
• 1 cup of water
• a clove of garlic minced
• 2 x tbl chilli powder
• 1/2 diced onion
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
• a little salt and black pepper

Directions:
Melt a small amount of coconut oil in a pan and fry off the turkey mince, drain the extra fat and add back into pan. Add the onion and minced garlic. Cook through for a few mins.

Add everything else and simmer for 30mins.  Serve with a little grated cheese if you wish.

I love this recipe. A great meal for the winter and great to make a batch and freeze for the future. You could also serve with brown rice or quinoa for a more filling meal. Or add more vegetables for a less meaty option.
