This is me today sept 29th 2014. Just over a year after birth (10th September 2013) and a sweaty back session at the gym. I’m pretty happy with where I am at; I am happy in my clothes and feel slimmer and fitter than ever. More importantly I am healthier than I have ever been and that makes me proud.

Some people may think ‘oh she’s not eating’ or ‘she’s starving herself’ but that cannot be further from the truth. It has taken alot of gym hours and eating clean to get back my body from pregnancy.  I put on just under 3 stone whilst I was pregnant and I ate alot of sweets and chocolate.  So after giving birth a diet was not the first thing on my mind but after my 6 week check I gave my diet a full overhaul. I knew it wouldn’t be easy so I decided to change my way of thinking about food. It took time but eventually I started to think of food as fuel instead of a treat for exercising.  I’ve tried to re educate myself and eat as clean as I possibly can and having the odd cheat meal so that I can sustain this way of eating. So after a year I can say it definitely works!
